Google Workplace, at its heart, a productivity platform. This means helping you create and work with documents of various kinds - such as word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations.

The three apps we will look at in this activity are Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides, and their powerful sharing and collaboration functionality.

Their Microsoft equivalents are Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. You will discover just how easy it is to transfer your skills from the Microsoft programs to Google's counterparts.

Your school google account allows you to create infinite documents for school purposes.

Task 1. Get comfortable with Google Docs

Task 3. Google Slides

Google Slides is a versatile alternative to Microsoft Powerpoint. It is great not only for presentations, but also putting together portfolios, interactive digital brochures, and even drawings & mind maps. Follow the form below to familiarise yourself with Google Slides.
