Browse or search for the room in Vivi. If you visit this classroom often, click on the star to favourite it for easy access.
If you just need to show whatever is on your screen, click 'Share Screen'.
With Vivi, you can play content directly on the screen, freeing you up to use your laptop for other things. You can also put up clocks and timers, draw on a digital whiteboard, or give students access to share as well.
Feel free to explore, or reach out to IT if you would like some training.
The TV or Projector should turn on automatically when you attempt to share your screen through Vivi. Otherwise, you can follow the steps below.
Locate the remote and switch the TV or Projector on.
You should see a screen appear with the Vivi logo in the bottom right corner.
If not, use the source/source search button on the TV/Projector remote to look for the Vivi source.
Projector Care! At the end of the lesson, leave it on if it will be used later in the day. Turn it off if it won't be, or if you are not sure.

No sound? Check the volume on your video player (eg. YouTube), the volume and output settings on your device, then the volume on the TV/Projector remote. If you're accessing Vivi through Google Chrome or a Chromebook, make sure you select the option to share audio when sharing your screen.
Using a streaming service and the video doesn't play? Consider using the Play Content option instead of sharing your screen. If you still have trouble, reach out to IT as some streaming services are not compatible with wireless streaming.
Too much lag/delay? Up to half a second delay is normal, but if you are consistently getting unbearable lag reach out to IT as there are some settings we can tweak on your device.
Stuttering video? Try playing the video using 'Play Content', or if you are sharing your screen enable 'Movie Mode' which adds a 3 second delay to the stream to allow the video to 'catch up'.
